SQL Limitations for X Protocol Sessions

The following statements are not possible with an X Protocol session:

• ALTER INSTANCE

• INSTALL COMPONENT

• INSTALL PLUGIN

• LOCK INSTANCE FOR BACKUP

• UNINSTALL COMPONENT

• UNINSTALL PLUGIN

• UNLOCK INSTANCE

• SHOW BINARY LOGS

• SHUTDOWN
