2.1 Review Requirements

You need an operational MySQL HeatWave DB System with the MySQL HeatWave Cluster enabled to do the following:

• Load and manage data in the MySQL HeatWave Cluster.

• Accelerate query performance with MySQL HeatWave.

• Train and use machine learning models with MySQL HeatWave AutoML.

• Perform AI-powered search and text generation with MySQL HeatWave GenAI.

Some of these components have some additional requirements that are listed in the following sections:

• Additional requirements for using MySQL HeatWave Lakehouse.

• Additional requirements for using MySQL HeatWave AutoML.

• Additional requirements for using MySQL HeatWave GenAI.

Note

MySQL HeatWave AutoML and MySQL HeatWave GenAI are supported on DB Systems with 32 or less MySQL HeatWave Cluster nodes only.
