The MySQL Community annually honors its Rockstars—active members who have profoundly contributed to the promotion and development of MySQL. In tandem, Oracle acknowledges outstanding contributors through the Oracle ACE program, which celebrates individuals who engage and advocate for Oracle technologies on a global scale
MySQL ACEs
The MySQL ACE program recognizes and rewards individuals at various levels for their contributions to the Oracle community. Aspiring and established technical experts alike can benefit from becoming an ACE, with opportunities to advance through the ranks, including ACE Apprentice, ACE Associate, ACE Pro, and ACE Director.

MySQL Community Contributor, years 2006-2019
A direct predecessor to the Rockstar award, the MySQL Community Contributor awards were introduced and given by the MySQL AB Community Team. After 2010, winners from previous years chose the next year's winners. Winners from 2019 and earlier are invited to all MySQL Rockstar events and are treated as Rockstars.
