PLUGINStable contains a row for each loaded plugin. mysql.plugintable shows which plugins have been registered withINSTALL PLUGIN. The table contains only plugin names and library file names, so it does not provide as much information as thePLUGINStable or theSHOW PLUGINSstatement.
