Connector/Net 6.1 is the most exciting and latest release of MySQL's fully managed ADO.Net provider to date

This release contains some exciting new features and improvements:

  • New ASP.Net Website Configuration Wizard. This wizard makes it a snap to use the MySQL web providers in your next website.
  • SSL enhancements. We've now included much finer control over how you get to handle SSL connections with MySQL.
  • New Session state provider. Want to scale out your MySQL-based website and need to store state in a database. We've got you covered.
  • Many other bug fixes and small improvements.
