    FieldMetadata constructor

Description

private mysql_xdevapi\FieldMetadata::__construct();

Provides metadata about a table. A FieldMetadata object is provided by other methods, such as RowResult::getColumns() as demonstrated in the example that follows.

Parameters

This function has no parameters.

Examples

$session = mysql_xdevapi\getSession("mysqlx://user:password@localhost");

$session->sql("DROP DATABASE IF EXISTS addressbook")->execute();
$session->sql("CREATE DATABASE foo")->execute();
$session->sql("CREATE TABLE foo.test_table(x int)")->execute();
$session->sql("INSERT INTO addressbook.names values ('John', 42), ('Sam', 33)")->execute();

$sql = $session->sql("SELECT * from addressbook.names")->execute();

$cols = $sql->getColumns();
  
print_r($cols);
